Project Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Network System Specialist (NTPL) for a client in the energy industry. The role involves supporting our team in managing the transition from copper to fiber connectivity in the UK, while also handling ISP-related matters for additional countries.

Requirements:

Extensive technical experience and expert knowledge in IT networks, with the ability to independently manage complex tasks through all project phases.

Experience working with firewalls.

Minimum of three years’ experience with connectivity technologies such as ISDN, DSL, Dial-up, FTTH, FTTC, and mobile networks (3G, 4G).

At least three years’ experience troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues.

Proven experience managing external ISP relationships.

Experience with Palo Alto is a plus.

Relevant certifications in the field are required.

Tasks:

Plan and drive the project to convert internet connections from copper to fiber services.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage changes across over 200 renewable locations.

Identify and resolve issues or conflicts arising during the project.

Create and update project documentation.

Oversee lifecycle network upgrades and manage external qualification processes.
